The blaze prompted a multi-alarm response from the Clark County Fire Department, which worked swiftly and successfully to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby buildings.Among the many affected by the fire was the American Legion Paradise Post 149, a well-respected organization in the local veterans community. The post maintained its official P.O. Box at the destroyed Post Office location and has now lost all incoming mail.%u201cThis is a big impact to us,%u201d said Doc Moss, former president of Paradise Post 149. %u201cWe lost four days%u2019 worth of our organization%u2019s mail%u2014membership renewals, checks, and even correspondence from our national headquarters. Whatever was in that P.O. Box is now gone.%u201dThe loss has caused a significant disruption to the post%u2019s operations, forcing members to work tirelessly to determine what was lost and how to recover. The leadership of Paradise Post 149 is urging anyone who may have recently mailed correspondence, payments, or documents to the post to reach out directly to help them reconstruct their records.The Paradise Post 149 community, known for its service and dedication to veterans, remains resilient in the face of this setback.
